Merry Christmas, everyone!! We're actually posting! Just want to catch everyone up on our exciting year and good things to come, so this is our condensed version...
MARCH 5th:
We got engaged!
MARCH 25th:
We moved Dale to Chicago so he could begin his job as a personal banker with Chase bank. There was a blizzard basically all the way through Wyoming and Nebraska...not the greatest road trip we've ever done...so we didn't document it.
MAY 21st:
Deanna went through the Chicago Temple.
JUNE 25th:
We got married!!
We went on a road trip honeymoon through Yellowstone National Park. SO gorgeous. We had to stay put in our car for about a half hour as a herd of mama buffalo and their babies took a short cut on the paved road...that was pretty neat. I'm not sure where the buffalo pictures are, so at least here is a gorgeous view of one of the sights.
JULY um...not sure which day:
Deanna started working at Namaste salon in Glen Ellyn, IL close to our house.
SEPTEMBER 9th:
Deanna cut off all of her hair!! She donated it to locks of love...
Other tid-bits:
Deanna is the primary chorister at church and Dale is a seminary teacher. We've been able to do a little sight-seeing in Chicago which has involved seeing the Museum of Science and Industry as well as the Shedd Aquarium, both of which were fun. We've also done a bit of just walking around Chicago and taking in the views, but we haven't been able to do tons of that, well, because Deanna had a few months where she was pretty sick....
Ta-da!!!!!
Deanna is 18 weeks pregnant!!! The baby is due May 26th and we're not planning on finding out the gender...or telling the names we're thinking of...because we don't want any name thieves :) Just kidding!! But seriously...
She's pretty sure the baby bump grew just this morning to be consistently noticeable, so we thought we could take a legit picture now. More to come as it grows!
Anyway, we hope everyone is healthy and well and we miss all of you that we aren't able to be around, especially this time of year. Merry Christmas to everyone! Come visit us in Chicago!!!

I just realized what a clever pun your blog title was. Not sure how I missed that, but it makes a lot more sense than an abbreviation for "duck tales." Also, congratulations, but Mylee is beating you by about 3 weeks. We are having a baby girl due on May 4th :)
